Why I created GlobalKin

Having lived in multiple countries, I know what it feels like to be the “new person” — navigating a new city, missing familiar faces, and the exhausting struggle of trying to meet people and find your community.

I realised this feeling isn’t limited to moving abroad. I experienced it as a local too. Whether you’re moving cities, entering a new stage of life, or simply finding your friendships changing, meaningful connection isn’t always easy to find. Loneliness can affect anyone, no matter who you are or where they call home.

I created GlobalKin with one simple goal: to make finding community easier.
